Another Century Break

Back in September we covered our first snooker event the 2008 Belgium Open. A host of top players were in attendance including Mark Selby. Recently I posted a 147 attempt he made in the first frame of the tournament against Kasra Kharavan. Well in that match he went 209 points without reply as he made back-to-back centuries.

The 104 in the first frame was backed up with a 105 in the second.

You can watch this break below:

Neither of these two were actually the tournaments highest break, Neil Robertson made a 142 in his first group match. I will bring you this break later.

EPA Ladies 8-ball Tour – Replays!

Back in July (19th/20th) I went alone to the EPA Ladies 8-ball Pool Tour in Leicester.

This tournament at the time was broadcast live over the Internet but today I have managed to finish editing the matches in a higher quality format for viewing on the channel.

The first two available will be Debbie Burchell v Clare Seaman and Julie Tailby v Barbara Taylor.

Each of these matches do take time for us to edit and make available – especially when we don’t do commentary on site. For us to develop our service we are looking at live scoring and commentary for future live events.

I think when people think of womens pool they instantly think of a poor standard, after going to the EPA Ladies Tour I can safely say that is not the case. The standard of some of the play was on a par with the men and the final in partcular was of the highest class, with lots of creativity from both Sue Thompson and Emma Cunningham.

Get across to CueSport TV and watch the first couple of instalments.
